Dear Justin Bieber,
Hi, Justin Bieber my name is McKenzie and I’m a big fan. I’m a 6th grader at Pioneer Ridge Middle School in Gardner Edgerton Kansas. For school I needed to ask a celebrity request questions and I picked you. I just wanted to ask you if you could come to my school and sing Favorite Girl or Love Me to my class. I’m in Mr. Ferrell’s class and it’s in the 6th grade hallway. You can ask were that is at the office if you decide to come.
I think you’re a really cool person and I know you’re busy and all but I really would like it if you could come. I think you’re really awesome and nice. I heard about your foot. I can’t believe you broke your foot 5 seconds into the show and finished the song even with that foot. I think that was awesome.
I really would be excited if you come but not like those crazy fans running and trying to get your autograph and stuff I would just wait until you weren’t busy. When you come, if you decide to, may I have an autographed CD? So if you decide to come e-mail me on my teacher’s e-mail telling me if you are coming or not. I know you are busy so you can come then or some other time, please come! My teacher’s e-mail is ferrellj@usd231.com
You’re Fan,
McKenzie
One day I was walking out of the Nail Salon and I saw this ratty little Chi Wawa. She was just walking all alone and she looked like she might belong to someone so I asked everyone I saw if they new or was the owner of this poor little puppy. I called my mom and she said to take it to the pound and ask what to do with her but to knot bring her there. I went to the pound and they said they would impound her for a period of four days and then they would put her to sleep. I didn’t want that to happen so I said I would just keep her with me and find out who she belonged to.
Even though my mom told me not to take her to her house I did anyways because I haven’t liked dogs since I was a little girl so I really didn’t want her in my house. When I walked in my mom screamed and Kloe and Kourtney, my two older sisters, Kylie and Kendal, my twin younger sisters, Bruce, my step-dad, Scott, Kourtney’s boy friend, and Rob, my little brother where all there to see her. My step-dad said that she was a little rat. My mom said I was a big girl so I needed to take her home with me so I said ugh fine.
When I took her home I didn’t want to have her sleep in my bed so I went to Puppy Chow to get her some little doggy supplies. I got her a little pink shirt, some puppy chow, bowls for water and food, and a little doggy bed. When I tried to see if she liked the bed she wouldn’t get on it because she seemed like she didn’t want to leave my arms. When I went to check the supplies out the person at the counter asked what her name was so I had to think for a minute. I told her that her name was Princess. She looked at me like I was crazy because Princess I guess is a strange name for a puppy.
When I was finally done with that we went back home and I gave her some puppy chow but she wouldn’t eat it so I gave her some little cookies. Then the door bell rang and I told them to come on in. When I was on the floor feeding her cookies Kourtney and my mom walked in and asked if I was going to keep her so I said yes because when Richie is gone I’m really lonely and I was really liking having Princess around for some company. My mom asked if she was supposed to eat those kinds of cookies and I just said that she wouldn’t eat her other food so I gave her these. My mom said that she would get really sick and start pooping all over the place so I got scared. My mom also asked if I took her to the vet yet and I said no. She was saying that she might have rabies so I needed to take her to the veterinarian. Kourtney said then why am I standing by her. She said that because she is pregnant and if she got bit by the dog if it had rabies then her baby could die.
I took my mom’s advice and went to the vet. The vet took her back into the room with her and when she came back she had some x-ray pictures of Princess’s belly. The veterinarian said that she had puss in her abdomen and that was very dangerous so they needed to take her into surgery right away. They came back in after her surgery and said that she needed to be watched twenty four seven. There was a little box on the side of her stomach so I asked what that was. The veterinarian said that was the fluid dripping out of her abdomen.
Since she would need to be watched twenty four seven and me having to go to all of my photo shoots and interviews going on I wouldn’t be able to give her the care she needs so I let the veterinarian keep her so she could live a long happy life. After she went with the veterinarian I visited the shelter and helped out there. I also told all of America to do adopt a pet or help out the shelter like I did.
The End
First I’ll have to finish middle school and that means I only have two more years. I’ll have to switch classes every hour and I’ll even try to make straight A’s or at least one or two B+’s. I think great behavior and at least good grades will get me in a great collage for Veterinary studies so I need to have that in order to do go there. Right now I’d say that I’m on a good start to my goal of straight A’s or at least one or two B+’s. I’ll have a new big long blue locker in the seventh and eighth grade hall. I can’t wait.
Next I’ll have to finish four years of high school which there will be a bunch of kids because we came from both of the middle schools into one high school. I might have the same size locker or the smaller kinds were there’s one locker on top of another. I’ll finally have a cell phone again unless my real dad buys me one before then. I’ll want to drive a Lamborghini and if you’ve never heard of it it’s a car that goes really fast, looks really cool, and that’s why I really want a Lamborghini. I would be so cool in that car and with the Nokia 7705 Twist from Verizon Wireless.
Then I’ll get to go to collage. I have to finish four years of regular collage and then I have to have for more years of Veterinary training so that means I’ll have to go to collage for eight years. I’ll get really good grades and I have graduate with a doctor of veterinary medicine degree, doctors degree, and a state license. I’ll have my own door room with my best friend and we would study together all night and on the weekends stay up all night and party. That would be really fun. When I finally get out of collage I’ll be twenty – five or twenty – six years old.
Finally fifteen years from now I’ll be the newbie as a veterinarian. I’ll wear cool, classy, and professional outfits. I’ll be great with the pets, animals, and kids. I’ll be good with the adults too. I’ll have a bunch of pets come in for checkups or something bad like broken paws or broken claws. I would get paid the chart below. My job will go well and it will be perfect. Overall I will have a good fifteen years from now.
Small animals, exclusively $64,744
Large animals, exclusively $62,424
Small animals, predominantly $61,753
Mixed animals $58,522
Large animals, predominantly $57,745
Equine (horses) $41,636
The End
1.Why was Brian nervous about the coming of winter?
He would be worried about finding shelter, food, and the harsh cold weather. There with the harsh weather it would be difficult to find food or to build or find shelter.
2. If Betty hadn’t come to Brian’s rescue during the bear’s visit, what might have happened?
If Betty didn’t come Brian would have been badly injured or even killed if possible. I don’t think that in real life that a random skunk would save a boy’s life but Betty and Brian had a connection.
3. Based on what you know about the outdoors, do the events in this story seem believable? Explain.
Yes, because if you had food in the wild other animals would want it. Just like Betty and the bear wanted it. I don’t think that a skunk would actually save a kids life from a bear. If it did then it was just becauseit didn’t like the bear or they were afraid.
4. What theme does the relationship between Brian and Betty suggest?
The theme is that even the smallest thing can make a big change. Because the skunk became friends with him because he gave her food. Then she saved him because he was in trouble.
5. Write a paragraph that describes what Brian’s actions in the wilderness reveal about his character. Use details from the story to support your answer.
He is very clever and nice to animals. He is always prepared for harsh weather or animals. If he didn’t give the skunk some food he would of been spraied and he would of been killed by the bear.

The Nile is the longest river in the world. It is about 4,000 miles long, north from the snowcapped mountains of East Africa. The Nile dumps into the Mediterranean Sea. The river got its name from the Greek word Neil’s, which means valley. It is very important to the Egyptians.
The Nile River is a very important source to the Egyptians. It is also known as “The Gift of Egypt”. The Nile is very important to the Egyptians. It provides them food, water, and paper from papyrus. They also clean their clothing in the river. They wouldn’t be able to survive without the Nile. The Nile has been a civilization for more than 5,000 years. The Nile has been in Egypt since 6 million BC.
The Nile River did a very important role in Egypt. For example it provided them transportation for them to get to place to place. It has a very good source of food and water for them. It gives them a variety of fish to eat. On the banks of the Nile there are plants called papyrus. It is a reed plant that the Egyptians used to make paper. When the Egyptians needed to get water from the Nile they created a device called a shadoof.
A majestic view of the great pyramids of Egypt is seen here through a row of elegant palm trees. The pyramids are a proof of one among many of the creative, imaginative, and skilled tech. Innovations of which ancient Egyptians are admired. The land around the Nile is very fertile and is good for farming. The Nile River flooded every year in mid-June which they called the yearly flooding or irrigation system. Farmers had to move every year because of the yearly floods.
The Nile River is a type of history. Moses was born when there were Jews as slaves and any Jewish boy that was born would be put to death so his mother hid him behind a bush but then the aunt heard the guy coming and let him float down the river to be safe. Then he convinced him to let the Jews go. So he let them go and he had to part the Red Sea. Then they were safe and free and that is the story of Moses and how the Nile is a part of history.
They have many ways of getting food, water and other things from the Nile. The Nile is very important and a huge source of Egypt. The floods are very harsh and I would hate to have to move every year in mid-June and having to live in different areas every time. I would hate that and I think I would need to make new friends and other things like that.
Funny Fair
Hey, listen up to this scoop its going to blow your mind away. At the Gardner fair this summer there was some funny news about a little girl who is going to be 2 on November 9th so she only has 4 days until then. On the Power Surge were all of the music was coming from she was dancing like crazy. I mean, it if you didn’t see it then I’m sorry for you because you would be laughing like crazy. She was so cute everyone was like, “Is that you little sister?” And I would say “Yes she is” That was also the summer we just moved there and I’d say that was the best summer ever.
The fair had so many rides like the Power Surge, that I was talking about earlier, the Zipper, the tornado, the Avalanche, and many other rides and games. One of the games I won a couple stuffed animals and a guitar even though we were going for a Wii game station. The guitar was great anyway so even though I didn’t get the Wii I might get it for Christmas or Hanukkah.
So if you’ve never been to the Gardner fair than you should go there this summer. It’s free to get in and the only thing that costs money are the rides and games but you can go and see the whole barn of horses, the US army tank, and the chickens. The tickets cost $1 per 10 tickets and the rist bands cost $10 and you can go on as many as you want. So come on down to the fair this summer and if you get hot come down to the pool next door. Ta-ta for now darling.
In class we read books that we thought would be good for this and after that we rote it down. After that we went on audacity and madethe sound and saved it as a wave. Finally we posted it on our blogs. click on link mckenzie blog radio commercial
